A career reading becomes more useful when the question is connected to a decision. “Will work improve?” is understandable, but it covers too much territory. A focused question helps identify momentum, obstacles and your next practical move.
Bring questions that create action
Ask: Which opportunity has the strongest growth potential? What is keeping me from being recognized? Is this workplace likely to improve, or am I being shown an exit? What timing appears strongest for interviews or an offer? Which skill or relationship needs attention now?
Bring essential dates and a short description of the situation, but avoid spending the session reciting every workplace grievance. Separate what you know from what you suspect about managers or coworkers.
Use the reading alongside preparation
Update your résumé, document achievements and continue applying while timing develops. Insight can help direct effort; it should not replace the effort itself.
